Luxury Chronometer Ambience Packshot Paris

Project Context

For this project, created in collaboration with Passion Horlogère, we photographed the Maurice Lacroix Aikon Automatic as part of a packshot ambiance session. The goal was to create an image that was both simple and refined, highlighting the precise geometry of the case and the details of the textured dial. The background was designed to reflect a contemporary and structured design, while allowing the watch to take center stage in the composition.

Challenges Encountered

• Highlighting the textured dial: Capturing the depth and details of the dial without compromising the elegance of the watch.

• Maintaining a minimalist aesthetic: Integrating a minimalist background while keeping the watch as the central piece.

• Managing metallic reflections: Working with the lighting to avoid unwanted reflections on the steel case and bracelet.

Solutions Provided

• Precise Framing: A symmetrical front-facing shot was chosen to emphasize the architecture of the case and the harmony of the bracelet.

• Minimalist Artistic Direction: A structured white background was used to create subtle visual depth, highlighting the watch without distracting from it.

• Elegant Retouching: Careful adjustment of contrasts and reflections enhanced the textures of the dial and the finishes of the case, while maintaining a natural look.
