Project Context

To enrich our portfolio, we created a packshot series for the Grand Seiko “Heritage Hi-Beat” model. This project aimed to capture the balance between the technical precision and minimalist elegance characteristic of this watch. Three images were produced: a front view to emphasize the dial’s clarity, a three-quarter angle to add depth, and a close-up highlighting the bracelet’s texture and quality.

Challenges Encountered

• Dial and detail rendering: ensuring perfect readability of all elements while respecting the design’s simplicity.
• Three-quarter perspective: capturing an angle that highlights both the case and the bracelet.
• Bracelet texture: conveying the finesse and quality of the materials without compromising their authenticity.

Solutions Provided

• Careful Shooting: precise and well-planned angles for each shot, with natural, controlled lighting to avoid unwanted reflections and to enhance the metallic and bracelet textures.
• Artistic Direction: a clean composition that gives full focus to the refined details of the watch while maintaining a contemporary and professional aesthetic.
• Meticulous Retouching: each image was carefully processed to harmonize contrasts, enhance textures, and ensure perfect visual consistency across all three shots.
