Project Details
Shooting Context
For the launch of the Palatine fragrance, we were commissioned to photograph the Parfums de Marly boutique and its window display located on Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris. The goal of this shoot was to document the visual installation of the retail space and capture the brand’s universe surrounding this new fragrance.
The boutique’s location in a prestigious luxury district required a technical and precise approach to achieve a faithful result, without any visual interference.
Challenges Faced
- Managing reflections on the window by taking multiple shots to minimize light interference.
- Shooting before the store opened to avoid the presence of customers and ensure a clean presentation of the space.
- Capturing the balance between natural lighting and interior lights for a consistent result.
Solutions Provided
- Multiple Shots & Detailed Post-Production: overlaying multiple images to correct reflections and ensure a sharp visual.
- Precise Shooting Organization: work carried out before the store opening to photograph the boutique in its optimal state.
- Structured Framing: highlighting details of the staging, interior design, and branding elements.
Let’s discuss
Store window photography requires precise management of reflections and lighting to ensure an accurate representation of the space and branding. A boutique perfumery shoot captures the product display, decoration, and customer experience. Interior store photography plays with contrasts between natural light and directional lighting, ensuring a balanced and immersive result. A professional window shot is essential for highlighting a product launch, ensuring optimal visibility on communication platforms, websites, and social media of a luxury brand.
