Renovation photography plays a key role in showcasing the craftsmanship of the construction industry. Whether illustrating a before-and-after or documenting the progress of a worksite, a well-executed photo reportage visually conveys the impact of a project done right.

For Illico Travaux, the goal was clear: highlight the transformation of a Parisian apartment while also showcasing the artisans behind those changes. Photographing a construction site is also about telling a story, that of a space in transition, of precise manual work, of expertise rooted in material.

In construction or interior renovation photography, it’s essential to anticipate angles, adapt to natural light, and sometimes work in less-than-ideal technical conditions. But it’s precisely this complexity that gives the images their documentary strength.

At Rétines, each reportage is designed as part of a broader communication strategy, to enrich a portfolio, enhance a website, or reassure future clients through concrete, visually compelling case studies.
