Client Context

For this exceptional project, we collaborated with Passion Horlogère to capture one of the most prestigious versions of the Rolex Daytona: the meteorite dial model. With the help of set designer Nesline, we envisioned and created an artistic direction centered around the unique story of this watch. The visual concept is based on a mineral backdrop, evoking both the cosmic origin of the meteorite and its terrestrial grounding, to highlight this exceptional piece.

Challenges Faced

• Respecting Precious Materials: Protecting the clasp and strap during the shoot to avoid any damage.

• Creating an Immersive Setting: Combining mineral materials and textures to reflect the cosmic origin of the dial.

• Managing Reflections on the Metal Case: Optimizing lighting to capture the details while avoiding unwanted reflections.

Solutions Provided

• Collaborative Artistic Direction: In collaboration with Nesline, a mineral setting was designed to echo both the cosmic and terrestrial essence of the dial. The stones and textures were carefully selected to tell a strong visual story.

• Meticulous Shooting: Protective films were used to safeguard the watch, while controlled lighting enhanced the dial and case finishes.

• Delicate Post-Production: Each image was carefully edited to harmonize the tones and strengthen the visual depth while maintaining the natural look of the materials and product.
