Project Details

Context

In collaboration with Passion Horlogère, we created an ambient photograph for the Doxa SUB 300 watch. Designed for diving enthusiasts, this iconic model was staged in an aquatic and luminous setting. The composition features an orange background, adding a sense of movement with a water effect. The goal was to capture the strong identity of the watch while emphasizing its connection to the aquatic world, in an immersive and visually impactful style.

Challenges Encountered

  • Creating a realistic and captivating atmosphere: Reproducing the effect of a watch placed on water while maintaining aesthetic consistency.

  • Controlling reflections: Managing metallic finishes and the watch’s glass to ensure perfect readability.

  • Harmonizing colors: Ensuring the orange background and water reflections complemented each other without distracting from the watch.

Solutions Provided

  • Immersive Artistic Direction: Designed a décor with realistic water effects and a vibrant orange background, reflecting the marine essence of the watch.

  • Precise Photography: Carefully calibrated lighting to highlight the dial and case details while avoiding unwanted reflections.
