Project Details

Client Background

For this project, MB Watches entrusted us with the creation of packshots for their Phénix model. This watch, a perfect blend of luxury and sport, required a series of images highlighting its interchangeable straps and distinctive angles. The visuals produced were intended for their e-commerce site as well as their advertising materials. The project included packshots of the red and white leather straps, as well as several detailed shots of the watch with its leather and rubber straps.

Challenges Faced

  • Highlighting detached straps: Each packshot needed to emphasize the unique textures and colors of the red and white leather straps.
  • Capturing strap variations: Presenting the watch with its two strap styles (leather and rubber) while maintaining visual coherence.
  • Rendering mechanical details: Ensuring legibility of the back finishes and accuracy in 3/4 and frontal shots.

Solutions Provided

  • Strap Photography: Specific packshots were created for the red and white leather straps, with lighting that emphasized their natural textures.
  • Complete Shots: The watch was captured from several angles (back, 3/4, front) with both leather and rubber straps, offering a detailed view of its possible variations.
  • Precise Retouching: Each image was edited to harmonize the colors and enhance the materials while preserving the final rendering’s fidelity.
