As part of a targeted activation for the Scottish whisky brand Laphroaig, the Suntory group organized a temporary tasting booth within the Galeries Lafayette in Paris. This operation aimed to offer a sensory and immersive brand experience to the department store’s customers while highlighting Laphroaig’s unique identity.
Our mission was to document this setup faithfully and aesthetically, capturing the atmosphere of the booth, tasting moments, and interactions with visitors.
Challenges Faced
- Working in a confined and busy space without disrupting visitor flow or the smooth running of tastings.
- Managing the ambient lighting of the store to accurately render the warm hues of the whisky and the brand’s visual universe.
- Producing flattering images despite the simplicity of the setup by creating an effective visual storytelling.
