Project Details
Context
MB Watches, a watchmaking brand operating between France and Switzerland, entrusted us with producing a series of packshots for their Alicanto model. The goal was to create a series of images that highlight the watch’s features: its dial, case back finishes, and straps. These visuals were intended to enhance their communication on their e-commerce site and advertising materials.
Challenges Encountered
- Showcasing the straps: each color and texture needed to be represented accurately and harmoniously.
- Capturing technical details: the case back finishes and materials had to stand out clearly without compromising readability.
- Visual consistency: maintaining an aesthetic uniformity despite the variety of elements to photograph.
Solutions Provided
- Comprehensive Shots: we took multiple angles to cover every aspect of the watch. A front view for the dial, a back view for technical details, and shots of the detached straps to emphasize their modularity.
- Strap Photography: each strap was isolated and shot with specific lighting to highlight its unique colors and textures.
- Precise Post-Production: meticulous retouching was done to harmonize colors, enhance contrast, and bring out textures, while keeping a faithful representation of the original.
